Heavy hearts today as we share the that we lost a dear friend recently. Mr Roy Marlow has never missed a year fishing in Key West over the past 30+ years.Roy and his mates from the UK would fish with us every year 14 days straight. Roy was the best nonprofessional angler I personally have ever had on the boat. He has literally caught everything that swims here in Key West.I have had the pleasure of guiding Roy many days, including winning the Shell Classic (light tackle division) tournament, back to back years. This is a three day event where you have to catch Tarpon, Permit, and Sailfish in order, only using 12 pound test mono. Our second year winning, which was the last time they had the tournament, Roy caught every single fish during the three day event. We had such a big lead in the tournament, the last day we went home 3 hours early.Roy was a great fisherman, but more importantly, a great human being. You will truly be missed, my friend.
